Spot 1 : Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, also known as Coban Sewu, is a majestic waterfall located in East Java, Indonesia. Its name, "Tumpak Sewu," translates to "a thousand waterfalls" in Javanese, which aptly describes its appearance as numerous streams cascade down a rugged cliff. Situated within the Tumpak Sewu Lumajang National Park, this waterfall is renowned for its stunning beauty and dramatic scenery. The waterfall plunges from a height of approximately 120 meters (394 feet) and is surrounded by lush greenery, steep cliffs, and tropical vegetation, creating a picturesque natural paradise.
Spot 2 : The Bromo sunrise experience is one of the most iconic and breathtaking attractions in Indonesia, located in East Java. Mount Bromo, an active volcano within the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, offers a stunning sunrise view that attracts visitors from around the world. To witness the Bromo sunrise, visitors typically embark on a pre-dawn journey to the viewpoint atop Mount Penanjakan, the highest peak in the area accessible by vehicle. Many visitors choose to make the ascent in 4x4 jeeps, which navigate the winding mountain roads in the darkness to reach the viewpoint in time for sunrise.
Spot 3: The Ijen Crater, also known as Kawah Ijen, is a volcanic crater located in East Java, Indonesia. It is famous for its otherworldly blue flames, acidic crater lake, and stunning scenery. One of the most unique features of the Ijen Crater is its blue flames, which are caused by ignited sulfuric gases that emerge from cracks in the volcano's surface. These flames are most visible at night and create a surreal and mesmerizing spectacle against the dark backdrop of the crater. During the daytime, visitors can witness another remarkable sight at the Ijen Crater: its turquoise-colored acidic crater lake. The lake is one of the largest acidic crater lakes in the world and is known for its vibrant coloration, which is caused by the high concentration of sulfur and other minerals in the water. Many visitors choose to embark on a trek to the Ijen Crater to witness these natural wonders firsthand. The trek typically begins in the early hours of the morning, as travelers hike up the rugged slopes of the volcano under the light of the stars. Along the way, they may encounter sulfur miners carrying heavy loads of sulfur chunks from the crater to the base of the mountain.
